# Holding Model Implementation Steps

## Phase 1: Setup & Database (Day 1-2)

### 1.1 Create Migrations

### 1.2 Create Models

## Phase 2: API Integration (Day 3-4)

### 2.1 Get API Keys
- **CoinGecko**: Free, no key required
- **Alpha Vantage**: Sign up at https://www.alphavantage.co/

### 2.2 Configure Environment
Add to `.env`:

ALPHA_VANTAGE_API_KEY=your_key_here
```

### 2.3 Create Commands

```

## Phase 3: Core Logic (Day 5-7)

- Asset search with AJAX
- Buy/sell form handling
- Real-time updates

## Phase 5: Testing & Deployment (Day 11-14)

### 5.1 Test All Features
- Buy/sell operations
- Price updates
- Portfolio calculations

### 5.2 Setup Scheduled Tasks
Add to `app/Console/Kernel.php`:

### 5.3 Deploy & Monitor
- Deploy to production
